All about February

February is all about celebration and even more more more celebration!!! Chinese new year and Bryston's birthday!!!
Thouhg bryston did not have any birthday party but we make sure that he gets to celebrate birthday with friends and relatives...
First up..celebration with his friends whom are born in the month of February too... We brought the kids to Jurong bird park for some fun.... Kids love the bird's show hehe
and also not forgetting the waterplay area.....then when it started to rain we just have to end out Jurong bird park trip....sadness but to the kids i think if they have been to the waterplay they are Happy!!!
Went to west coast plaza for lunch and cake...super duper full from it!!!!
Then we had celebration for Bryston in school too since his birthday happen on a Friday... This year he have requested for Thomas and friends... And i love Polar cakes so i choose this image...
And i ordered those edible image from singapore motherhood forum ,made these mini muffin with cream cheese then top it up with the image.
Then it's time for Chinese New Year celebration whereby kiddos got to wear traditional chinese new year costume to school...
I like Leshay wearing this qipao but because she is still a young toddler...the dress does not come back perfect... splits here and there....faint...
And i like Bryston costume too hehehe...so cute when kids wear this kind of clothes.... Leshay tries to be funny in this picture...
Then we went to Yan Palace at Warren country club for reunion dinner.. Huat ah...
And on Chu Yi,we were at brother in law house for celebration and also at the same time celebrate bryston birthday again hahaha....Bought the cake frrom River Gauche....omg the cake is really nice!!!!
And celebration with my family...That is my nephew and niece....hehe
We totally enjoy the month of February but also at the same time tiring... Lol...
Since we are friends of the Zoo.... we always go to the zoo when we can hahaa.... kids love it too!!
Finally i get to see a mousedeer.... sound so suaku but because everytime i go to the zoo i never see it.....though the alligator are hard to miss ... LOL
And this butterfly just keep loitering around the washing area so i took a chance to get real close up and snap snap snap more pictures of it...
And these..... are the winner.... i love them!!! Huge!!!!
When they try to reach out for food is even mega cute!!! Don't you agree so??

Alright updates for 2013 ya...
For Bryston,
Firstly i am happy that a choice have been made to pull him out from childcare as after attending the pcf school which provides him 3hours of solid learning with play,his chinese in speech have improve tremendously...
This is a major improvement.... plus he really enjoy his classes.. But as he grows his character changes abit whereby in some areas he is more demanding and negotiation are required...
Afterall he is just only a 4year old boy...but because he speaks well in my opinion,i treat him like a big boy.... and loses patience sometime when i can't figure out why a simple task is yet so hard....
I think at toddler age...learning to listen is a big big step they have to take... I can't say that he is not listening at 100% but probably instructions wise he is only listening at 80%??
So i always have to remember and remind myself...cool it cool it...explain explain and remind him too.....constantly.... but of course sometime he get a smack on his hand when he never listens/did something he should not have done....
i guess it's part and parcel of having kids... Giving birth to a kid is easy but teaching them the right path is a tricky one...
On Leshay
This cheeky girl have never fail to surprise us at times....i' m glad she is attending a 2hour class just to let her have some exposure to friends...
I can teach her all the things i know at home but i cannot teach her how to socialise with other kids..she have to explore this by herself...
After a few lessons,she will come home talk/sing more.... Else usually things that she know or understand,she does not want to tell you much about it...
But with social exposure,she will tell you all the things that you wish to hear from her... i like it when she sing or hum songs she learn from school...even twinkle twinkle little star which i have been singing to her... And she can sing some chinese songs too...
So definitely no regrets...
The unexpected thinking of a toddler. I know she love to play with our lamp whereby you pull the string and lights come on.. So i switched off the main power hoping that once she see there is no light she will stop... No no no...
She went around to the side where the main switch is...she flip the switch and pull the string again... me and hubby laughed....
I'm glad that i have two kids though it's tedious at times but there are rewards too....

Double dosage of sunshine

Like seeing them grow up,how they develop,how happy they are,how cute they are and etc etc etc...
The lists just goes on....
Drums roll..... presenting to you my first dosage of sunshine.... Bryston....
Full of questions and talking almost every minute when he is awake....
Making the Hong Kong egglet look so tasty.... Would you wanna have one now??
Second dosage of sunshine!! Leshay... always bubbly,cheeky,funny and smarty pant !!! LOL... Of course both my kids are smarty pants hahaha....every parents are full of praises for their kids.. don't you agree??
Show you my teeths....beware!! i bite!! Lol.... as you can see she skip a tooth and went straight to having a molar.... but the empty space will soon be filled up...
Now if you can spot her dimple...she is the only one in the house with the dimple right beside her mouth.... we all have it on our cheeks except Daddy does not have dimples
So there you go...i get double dosage of sunshine to get my heart pumping.... i'm blessed... hehe..
